In this new project, I was invited to design the poster for the latest edition of the Neón 2024 Festival, where various artists from the national scene come together to share their work based on this year’s concept: the fusion of sound and light. For the design of this poster, we focused on the abstraction that symbolises the concept and presented an abstract shape in the centre of the poster. This central element, with its flowing lines and organic shapes, suggests movement and energy, evoking the synergy between the sound waves and the light installations exhibited by the artists. On the other hand, the typography chosen is modern and stylised, complementing the abstract design without detracting from it. Neon colours were used to give depth and highlight key information about the event, such as the name of the festival, the dates and the location. The poster, with its bold design and striking colours, not only acts as an advertisement for the festival, but also as a work of art in itself. Its abstract form and neon colours capture the imagination of viewers, inviting them to immerse themselves in a world where art, sound and light intertwine in spectacular fashion.
